What Our Students Say

I recently completed the A&P course at Matta Aviation, and I can confidently say it’s one of the most intense and rewarding programs out there. The curriculum is rigorous, but it’s designed to ensure you meet every requirement needed to earn your Airframe & Powerplant certificate. You won’t just be prepared—you’ll be equipped. One of the standout aspects of the program is the small class size, which allows for highly personalized training. Eddie Matta goes above and beyond to make sure every student understands the material. He’s not just an instructor—he’s a mentor who’s fully committed to your success. Whether it’s hands-on practice or deep technical knowledge, Eddie ensures you’re ready for the real world. This course isn’t easy, but if you’re serious about becoming an A&P mechanic, Matta Aviation is the place to do it. You’ll be challenged, supported, and ultimately transformed into a confident, capable technician. Thanks Eddie!!!!!!

Absolutely would recommend for anyone with the goal of getting their Airframe and Powerplant Certification. The Class is challenging but absolutely attainable, just study hard and listen to Eddie’s advice. He’s a great teacher and will take the time to explain things that you might not while studying understand. He will teach every topic and every subject needed to pass the written, Oral, and Practical Exams. I can’t give him enough credit! (Thanks again Eddie!)

Eddies A&P course is the best there is. He takes one on one time with you if you ask for it and offers to do study groups with you to help you understand all the info that you get. It’s not an easy course! It is a tough course for sure and it requires lots of studying to be able to pass those tests! But it is 2 years worth of info you’d learn at a college mashed into 10-12 days. Do not give up at this course cause I promise Eddie won’t give up on you. He truly cares about the students and is passionate about aviation. It is 100% worth your time if you are interested in getting your A&P. Plus Eddie provides lodging in an apartment if you choose to book it. Very fair price for the entire stay vs staying in a hotel or anywhere else. Just listen to what he says you’ll be successful. DONT OVER THINK IT!!! All I got left to say is in the wise words of the man himself. “SHE GOOD!”

Matta A&P prep course was awesome! Eddie breaks everything down in a way that’s easy to understand and really makes sure you’re ready for the test. Super helpful, supportive, and knows his stuff. I learned so much in two weeks and left with both my A&P certificates — definitely recommend to anyone going for their A&P! “Don’t overthink it!”
